Do Not Grow Weary in Doing Good
Read Galatians 6:9
Paul encourages us to keep doing good and trust God with the harvest in His time.
Reflection
Some days, even a willing heart gets tired. We carry responsibilities, pray over situations that have not changed, and keep showing up for others while wondering who will show up for us. In uncertain times, it can be tempting to ask, “Does what I am doing even matter?”
Galatians 6:9 reminds us that doing good has value even when the results are not yet visible. A seed does not become a harvest overnight. The encouragement you offer, the prayer you whisper, and the kindness you extend may be taking root in ways you cannot see.
Perseverance does not mean pretending you are never weary. You can rest, ask for help, and bring your honest feelings to God. Let Him renew your strength. You do not have to carry every burden or solve every problem to remain faithful.
This week, take the next small step in love. Trust God with what is beyond your reach. Your quiet faithfulness matters, and you do not have to walk this season alone.
Prayer
Lord, You know where we are tired and where hope feels thin. Renew our strength and help us receive the care we need. Give us wisdom to rest, courage to continue, and patience to trust Your timing. Let our kindness reflect Your love, even when we cannot yet see the fruit. Amen.
Put it into practice
Choose one small act of kindness you can offer this week. Make room for rest, too. If you are weary, reach out to someone you trust and let them encourage or pray with you.
