mpstch@gmail.comA weekend remembered
In April 2025, Women of Valor gathered in North Carolina for a regional experience shaped by prayer, purpose, and the joy of being together.
Friday opened the door with fellowship and birthday celebrations. Saturday carried the heart of the gathering through a keynote message, shared meals, encouragement, and connection. Sunday brought worship, one more table of fellowship, and airport goodbyes—but the bond traveled home with every woman.
Friday · April 11
At Sister Sherron’s home, the women settled in, reconnected, shared laughter, and celebrated birthdays together. Before the formal gathering began, WOV made room to honor life and one another.
Saturday · April 12
Sister Ebra opened her home for the main gathering, where Founder Saru Juran served as keynote speaker. Teaching, listening, food, and fellowship shared the same space—a reminder that ministry is carried through both the Word and willing hands.
Sunday · April 13
The women worshiped at Sister Ebra’s church, gathered afterward for a final meal, and carried the weekend’s love all the way to the airport. There were embraces and goodbyes—but no ending to the connection.
Conference theme
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
In 2023, the women whose voices had met faithfully on the prayer line finally stood together in the same room.
Women traveled to Kennesaw, Georgia, for the first Women of Valor conference. For four unforgettable days, the home became our sanctuary, classroom, kitchen, and fellowship hall. From Thursday's welcome, food, fellowship, goody bags, and red conference T-shirts to Friday's 6:00 a.m. prayer line, teaching sessions, guest speakers, and meals prepared in teams, every woman brought something to the table—her faith, her gifts, her testimony, and her willing hands.
By Saturday, after a full schedule of prayer, learning, laughter, and service, we dressed in red and gathered around the dinner table to celebrate. Sunday brought worship and goodbyes—but it was not an ending. The words printed on our red T-shirts, A Season of Transition, named what God was doing among us: moving Women of Valor from a prayer-line family into a growing ministry with a wider purpose.
