Four days in Orlando brought the Women of Valor family together for worship, teaching, fellowship, celebration, and a renewed call to live out our faith with purpose.
Faith in Action was not simply printed on a program or a T-shirt. It came alive every time someone prayed, taught, welcomed, encouraged, embraced, or made room for another woman at the table.
This is the story of an experience that began with joyful reunions and continued through moments of worship, wisdom, and wholehearted connection.

Welcome became worship.
As women arrived at the DoubleTree, familiar voices from the prayer line became hugs in the hotel lobby. Later, our own WOV check-in desk opened inside the meeting room, where guests received their goody bags and Faith in Action T-shirts.
Dressed in beautiful African attire, we shared hors d'oeuvres, laughter, fellowship, praise, and dance. The evening also made room to celebrate Mother Clara—a treasured woman of faith whose presence continues to bless WOV.

Faith took the floor.
The day began early around the breakfast table before the conference room filled with prayer, teaching, testimony, and practical wisdom. Every message returned to the same call: faith must be lived, not merely spoken.
Speakers encouraged the room from spiritual and practical perspectives, and an interactive panel invited thoughtful questions and honest conversation. Apostle Janet Davis traveled from Colorado to deliver a powerful keynote that called women forward with courage and purpose.

Strength for the next step.
Saturday morning returned us to prayer and the Word. The room carried the energy of everything already shared—and the expectancy of what was still ahead.
Before breaking for lunch and preparing for the evening gala, women gathered outside for photographs, laughter, and one more reminder of what WOV looks like in person: faith, affection, and sisters standing together.

Faith became celebration.
Women arrived dressed to the nines for an elegant evening of fellowship, generosity, and joy. The auction and raffle invited guests to support the mission while celebrating how far God had brought Women of Valor.
The evening also paused for a loving tribute to the late Sister Parlo Edwards. Her memory was honored with tenderness and gratitude, preserving her place in the WOV story.
Before dinner and celebration, guests were welcomed into a room prepared with purpose—auction gifts, raffle opportunities, and a warm WOV reception.

Sunday · April 26
Worship sent us forward.
After four full days together, Women of Valor gathered for Sunday worship, the Word, prayer, and thanksgiving. It was a final sacred moment to reflect on the experience and honor the God who carried every part of the journey.
After service, both brunch tables filled with laughter, conversation, and one more meal together before the goodbyes began. The gathering came to a close, but the calling—and the connection—continued.

Beyond Orlando
The gathering ended. The work continues.
Faith in Action remains more than the theme of one weekend. It is the continuing call to pray, serve, encourage, and make room for women to rise together.
